Claude Code

Connect OpsTrails to Claude Code with a single command.

Setup

Run this command in your terminal:

claude mcp add opstrails "https://api.opstrails.dev/api/mcp/mcp" \
  --transport http \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"

Replace YOUR_API_KEY with a READ_ONLY API key from the console.

Usage

Once connected, ask Claude Code questions about your operational timeline:

• “What was deployed to production today?”
• “Show me the last 5 events”
• “Did anything change in the last hour?”
• “Check the error rate around the last deployment”

Remove

To remove the MCP server:

claude mcp remove opstrails
