Opsgenie

Connect Opsgenie to OpsTrails to automatically create alerts when change freeze windows or deployment policies are violated. See the Notifications overview for how channels work.

Configuration

• API Key (required) — An Opsgenie API integration key used to create alerts
• Region (required) — Select US or EU to match your Opsgenie instance region

How It Works

• OpsTrails creates alerts via the Opsgenie Alert API
• Alerts are created with P3 priority
• The alert message includes the guardrail name, violation details, and the event that triggered it

Getting Your API Key

1. In Opsgenie, go to Settings → Integration List
2. Click “Add Integration” and search for “API”
3. Name the integration (e.g., “OpsTrails”) and save
4. Copy the API Key from the integration details
